The month of September has been set-aside to rejoice in God
blessing our church family with
"A Shepherd Standing on the Promises of God."
Celebrate with us as we honor our Pastor and
First Lady for thirty-three years of faithful
service to the
Fairfield/st1:PlaceName
Baptist
Church. Gifts
of love are appreciated. Please consider
sharing a love offering of $33.00 per member and
$330.00 per ministry. Special envelopes
will be available for your convenience. On
Sunday, September 26, 3:00 PM Rev. Dr. William Flippin and the Greater Piney Grove Baptist
Church will be our guests. All members and
ministries are asked to be present for this
momentous occasion. Further information
for ministries will be placed in your mailboxes.
Thirty-three years of service presents an
opportunity for us to pay tribute to our
Shepherd for all the services he renders to our
church, our families and community.
Attention Parents!!!
The AEP
Committee is looking to increase the number of
honorees at its first semester celebration. This
means that we need more students making ALL
“A’s” and not more than one “B”. If your child
missed being honored last semester bring him or
her to Reaching Educational Excellence for
Tomorrow (R.E.E.T.) tutorial each Wednesday from
7pm – 9pm. Tutoring begins the Wednesday
following Labor Day. Remember, “It is easier to
build a child than it is to repair an adult.”
The (R.E.E.T.) tutorial committee is looking for
people who are willing to donate their time to
volunteer to help tutor. If you have a great
understanding of a particular subject, we need
you to come and help others to increase their
understanding. We are especially in need of a
chemistry tutor. This is a great way for high
school students to obtain the volunteer hours
needed to enter college. If you have questions
please contact Brother Isaac Dodoo @
izzakk@yahoo.com or Sister Brittany King @
brking07@gmail.com
Girl Scout meetings will be starting August
16th for girls in grades K-12. Meetings take
place in Annex 1.
